The Third Battle of Winchester was the largest and costliest battle ever fought in the Shenandoah Valley during the Civil War. Today, over 600 acres of the battlefield have been preserved and are open to the public.
There will be living history throughout the day, including artillery demonstration, infantry demonstrations, and camp set-up. Held in the fields adjacent to the parking lot for the Winchester Battlefields Visitor Center at 541 Redbud Road, Winchester.
Hosted by the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation.
