World of the Piano: Inna Faliks

Born in the Ukraine, Inna Faliks’ Polonaise Fantasie: The Story of a Pianist is a powerful and relevant program, which — through words and music — tells the story of her childhood in Odessa, her immigration to the United States and her personal and professional growth as an artist. With works by Bach, Chopin, Freidlin, Liszt, Mozart and Shchedrin, Faliks demonstrates the beauty, timelessness and universal power of classical music to connect with our personal lives and the relevant issues of our times.
