Local and Regional Artisans and Vendors throughout the grounds and two (2) open-air buildings.

An area just for the kids with a Giant Slide, Kids Castle and Obstacle Course. Susie The Clown doing balloon art for the kids on Saturday. Nearby handwashing station for use before and after play.

Sponsored by Blue Ridge Dog Training Club. This course will engage the canine mind and provide exercise for all breeds, sizes and ages!

Enjoy a great collection of antique vehicles and hot rods in a festive atmosphere, Saturday at 10:30am. Trophies, Hourly Prizes, 50/50 Drawing and nearby Music.

Must be 21 and over with ID required. Live entertainment nearby makes this a can’t miss attraction!

Apple Blossom Festival: Winchester Ciderworks Tasting and Orchard Tours

Cider Tastings and Orchard Tours will be offered at Marker-Miller Orchards Farm Market, 3035 Cedar Creek Grade, Winchester, VA 22602. Half-hour walking tours of the orchards will begin at 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. Marker-Miller is a local farm with a market. Inside the market there are a variety of products to choose from and don’t forget to check out our bakery and the apple cider donuts. Wrap up your visit with a stop by our “Sweets Shop” where you can get fudge, hand dipped ice cream, or fruit slushies.

During the orchard tour, guides will dispense a wealth of information on the planting and growing of fruit trees, temperature sensitivity for blossoms, spraying and pruning and using the latest “green” methodology to protect the trees and promote tree and fruit growth, when and how to harvest, and much more.

Delicious food options will be available for purchase from various vendors on site as well as live music. Participants are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs should they wish to sit outside following the tour and tasting.

The Cider Tastings & Orchard Tours is an outdoor event at Marker-MIller, please wear appropriate footwear.

    Richard’s Apple Festival

    FREE Admission! Join us on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11am – 3pm for our Annual Apple Festival & Farm Party! We’ll have live music, farm food (sliders from our own burger, farm to crust pizza, hotdogs, caramel apples) and of course, LOTS of apples. The wine and beer garden will be open for tastings and flights too.

    This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us! Have fun in our petting zoo, let the kids cruise around in the barrel train, or just run around til they’re exhausted. We’ll have outdoor games like badminton & cornhole too.
    The event is rain or shine, bring your umbrella because then it won’t rain!

    Be sure to invite your Facebook friends and then bring them along for a great afternoon on the farm.

    Apple Harvest Festival

    Multiple varieties of apples to choose from, with pick your own available.

    Apple cobbler and apple cider slushees can be enjoyed while sitting on the front porch or listening to the music each day from 1-3 P.M. For the kids we have a playground and room to run. A variety of food will be available at the food building.


    Pick Your Own at Rinker’s Orchards

    We can’t believe it, but this weekend will be the final weekend of Rinker’s 2020 Pick Your Own season. We will be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10-5.

    Back by popular demand! Come enjoy Cobbler Mountain Cider as they visit Rinker Orchards again this weekend. Taste the hard ciders produced directly from Rinker Orchard apples including the newest releases of Harvest Pumpkin, Strawberry Lemon, Summer Sangria and Blueberry Lemonade.

    All available to taste and purchase Saturday and Sunday 11:00 – 5:00.

    The varieties of apples that will be available to pick from the trees this weekend are Ida Red, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Nittany, and Rome apples.

    And don’t forget your fresh Rinker’s Apple Cider! It is available at Rinker’s in gallons, half gallons, and pints.

    AppleFest and Iris Sale

    Another fun festival for the family! Kick off the fall season with a trip to the farm market!

    APPLES APPLES APPLES AND MORE! Plus Apple Pies, Apple Dumplings, Apple Cider, Apple Cider Donuts, Apple Cider Slushies, Apple Salsa and many more delicious Apple Treats!

    Corn Maze, Hayrides, and Pumpkin Patch will be open 10am-6pm!

    Live music in the courtyard from Robbie Limon 1-4pm!

    We will also be partnering with the Shenandoah and Potomac Iris Society who will be holding a large Iris Sale! You will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality rhizomes ready to take home and plant right away!

    Apple Picking and Apple Butter Making

    Visit Rinker’s Orchard to pick-your-own apples!

    We take our traditions very seriously here at Rinker Orchards, and we know it wouldn’t be apple season without the local Stephens City Lions Club here making their famous apple butter! Join us on September 14 and 21 to watch members of the club make their famous apple butter and to pick some up to take home with you. This is an annual fundraiser that provides support for their many charitable projects throughout the year.

    Crim’s Concessions will be on site September 14 making fresh kettle corn! It goes great with Rinker’s cider!

    Regular and sugar free varieties available.

    Rinker’s is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10:00am – 5:00pm! (September 6 through Columbus Day, October 14th, 2019.)

    Cider Celebration at Winchester Ciderworks

    Come celebrate the harvest at Winchester Ciderworks.

    There will be ongoing orchard and cidery tours throughout the day, live entertainment, food, yard games, and of course, cider!
