Exhibition Opening: The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art

See more than 100 examples of Art Nouveau furniture, jewelry, and decorative arts in this spectacular exhibition! Inspired by nature, Art Nouveau dominated European art and design from about 1890 to 1914, and works feature subjects such as vines, flowers, and insect wings. The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art celebrates the elegance of Art Nouveau and presents works by Tiffany, Mucha, and other major artists and artisans of the Art Nouveau movement.

At the MSV April 13 though July 14, 2024, The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art is organized by the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, VA and toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC. The exhibition’s display at the MSV is made possible by the generous support of the MSV Compass Society.
