Ginger Billy is a comedian from rural upstate South Carolina. He’s best known for his YouTube videos and over 11 million followers on social media tune in to watch his crazy antics. Ginger Billy’s raw comedy and ability to find humor in the day-to-day struggles and experiences of average Americans has resonated with fans across the country.

Grab a blanket or lawn chairs and join us for big laughs with stand up comedian Kevin Farley!
Kevin Farley is an entertainer to the core. Over the past 3 decades he has made audiences laugh, cry, smile and think as a stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker and podcaster.

The event will take place in the gardens at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

Early show: 5:30 PM
Late show: 8 PM

Attendees in onsite programming at the MSV acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and are voluntarily participating. If you are feeling at all unwell or have any flu like symptoms (cough, aches, sore throat, fever, etc.) please do not attend the event. The outdoor stage is ideally situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the expansive lawn provides lots of room to social distance and still enjoy the performance!

Plethora of Plays in One Act

While Winchester Little Theatre is undergoing restoration, its January show is moving to the MSV! Enjoy an afternoon or evening performance that features four one-act plays. Two collections of one-act plays will be presented.

January 10, 11 & 25 from 7–9 p.m. January 12 & 25 from 2–4 p.m. The End of the Tunnel, A New Sunrise, The Deserter, and 976-Lust. See below for play details.

January 16, 17 & 18 from 7–9 p.m. January 18 & 26 from 2–4 p.m. Samaritan, Waiting, Cruise Missile, and The Actor’s Nightmare. See below for play details.

Winchester-Frederick County History Trivia Night

Calling all history buffs! 2019 marks the 275th anniversary of Winchester, so we’ve teamed up with Winchester-Frederick Historical Society to bring you our first-ever Trivia Night!

Put on your thinking cap for a fun evening of friendly competition inspired by the local history​ of Winchester and Frederick County​. Join a team or round up your own group (up to ​three people​ to a team​). ​A full menu will be available as well as plenty of libations from the bar.

DOORS, BAR, & KITCHEN OPEN at 6PM

TRIVIA at 7PM

GENERAL ADMISSION: $8 + admission tax & processing fee

DOOR: $10 + admission tax

Apple Blossom’s Got Talent: FINALS

Looking For New, Unique, and Unusual Talent of All Kinds!

This is the Finals for the 2019 “Car Credit Nation: Apple Blossom’s Got Talent!“, held in Old Town Winchester at the Bright Box Theater. All of the ABGT events will be held on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm: February 13, March 13, Semi-Finals April 10, and Finals May 1. The Finals will take place in the middle of the week between “Wine Festival Weekend” and “Parade Weekend.”

Prizes include $2,000 plus perks for first place; $1,000 for second place; $500 for third place. There will be 80 G/A seats upstairs and 120 G/A seats downstairs at each event. Audition ticket cost is $5.00 for Upstairs (Screen View Only), and $10.00 for Downstairs (Live View).

Friday Night Live

Unwind and enjoy all that Old Town Winchester has to offer at Friday Night Live (FNL). Friday Night Live is the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, shop, dine and enjoy great live music, street performers and artisans. The Taylor Pavilion will be the main venue for performances every third Friday in June, July and August, however, the Loudoun Street Mall will be filled with music and activities for all to enjoy.

July’s lineup will feature the award-winning Mid-Atlantic regional band, The WORX. The WORX plays everything from Journey to Flo Rida during their show. They are a real crowd pleaser and regional favorite! The WORX will bring all demographics to their shows due to their wide variety of tunes.

Friday Night Live

Unwind and enjoy all that Old Town Winchester has to offer at Friday Night Live (FNL). Friday Night Live is the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, shop, dine and enjoy great live music, street performers, and artisans. The Taylor Pavilion will be the main venue for performances every third Friday in June, July and August, however, the Loudoun Street Mall will be filled with music and activities for all to enjoy.

The June Friday Night Live will feature the southern rock band, Brickyard Road Band – A Lynyrd Skynyrd-style band. From start to finish, this band will play classic hits like Workin’ for MCA, Sweet Home Alabama, and Free Bird. A DJ, tent and chairs will also be set up on the Old Courthouse lawn to accommodate additional patrons from the 2019 HOG Motorcycle Rally being held in Winchester that week.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the gate.
