Apple Blossom Festival: Bloomin’ Sunday

The event is an annual family fun extravaganza and includes an Artisan and Craft Show, Midway Games, Entertainment, Concessions, Classic Car/Jeep/Motorcycle Show (weather permitting), Kids’ Zone, and Live Music. Bring your whole family. We have something for everyone!

Artisan and Craft Show
Join us for our 45th year for a “Festival Within a Festival.” Our show has been the cornerstone of this event since its inception. Artisans and crafters from all over the country have been carefully selected for the Artisan and Craft Show. Many unique and high-quality artisans will display their work.

New Horizons Kids’ Zone
Renaissance themed Kids’ Zone fun for the whole family with activities for everyone. Events include pony rides, petting zoo, puppet shows, apple pie eating contest, wildlife shows, magical acts, children’s talent show, bouncy house, blow up slides, Celtic dance performances, and games. Princes and Princesses will be able to meet the royalty of Ravenwood Faire!

Open Car and Motorcycle Show
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Stonewall District Ruritan Club Grounds
Members of the Hoppers Car Club will be on hand for registration from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Then the show will run until 3 p.m. at which time awards will be given out. The vehicles would be leaving after the awards. Get a close-up view of vintage cars and motorcycles.

Zach Williams Drive-In Theater Concert

The Drive-In Theater Tour presents Zach Williams with special guests Mac Powell of Third Day and CAIN!

It’s an exciting night of music and encouragement with new and improved parking and ticketing options for 2021. Bring up to six people per car with your blankets and lawn chairs for a night of LIVE MUSIC AND FUN under the stars!

MLB Jr. Home Run Derby

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED.

We will be hosting a Major League Baseball® Jr. Home Run Derby on Preston Field in Jim Barnett Park. Pre-registration is required. Boys and girls will be divided into two age divisions (12U and 14U), and will have the chance to advance through three levels of competition. The Local Champions from both age divisions will advance to the Regional Level, and Regional Champions will advance to the Finals, which will take place during the 2021 MLB® All-Star Week™.

Follow the Star – Living Nativity Drive Through

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO DECEMBER 12 and 13.

December 5 and 6, 5-9pm

Follow the Star is a dramatic and immersive live nativity experience celebrating its 11th year in Winchester, Virginia.

This year Follow the Star will be a drive through Nativity, in the Parking Lot of Fellowship Bible Church. You will be greeted by traffic attendants who will show you where to drive and you will experience Follow the Star from the warmth and safety of your vehicle. Expect delays when you arrive, but we will have Christmas music for your listening enjoyment. The audio portion will be through a Spotify link given to you when you arrive- or a CD, if that’s your preference. There will be live drama- including animals- for your enjoyment as you drive through the event.

Open to the public. All are welcome!

Holiday Lane: Lights in the Park

A new light show in Jim Barnett Park, called Holiday Lane, will be offered for our community to experience from the safety of their vehicle. The lights and holiday scenes will be installed around the road that meanders through Jim Barnett Park from the amphitheater area (Oak Drive), past the dog park and ending near the Rec Center (War Memorial Drive).

Holiday Lane will be available to drive through from 5:00-8:30 pm, seven days a week, November 30-December 20, 2020. The show is free to enter and will feature beautiful light designs, characters, and holiday decorations the entire family will love. Also, Santa is planning to stop by on weekends.

Tomato Festival

Join us for Richard’s Fruit Market’s second Tomato Festival!

Come enjoy a day at the farm with live music, great farm food, barrel train rides, pick-your-own flowers, wine and craft beer tasting, and of course, lots of tomatoes!

Live Music and Food Trucks at Marker-Miller

Visit the market for for scenic views, fresh produce, or delicious treats like Apple Cider Donuts, Strawberry slushees, Peach slushees, fresh made fudge, and hand dipped ice cream.

Mark Clay will be performing from 1:00-3:00 in the picnic pavilion and Blue Ridge Bar-B-Q Co. LLC and 3Fires Oven will be at the market serving food.

Harvest Party and Trunk-or-Treat

Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church AWANA Club is hosting a Kid’s Harvest Party and Trunk-or-Treat.

There will also be hayrides, bounce houses, and games.

All are welcome at this Free event.

French and Indian War Weekend

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM SEPTEMBER. Please join us October 7 and 8!

Experience a French & Indian War era living history encampment of Colonel George Washington’s Virginia Regiment. Captain George Mercer’s Company and others will offer demonstrations and drills on both Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm.
