Shenandoah Valley Apple Harvest Festival

The 2020 Shenandoah Valley Apple Harvest Festival will be held at the Frederick County Fairgrounds, 250 Fairground Rd., Clear Brook, VA. The festival continues to grow with attendance over 6,000 people!
The festival has always been family (and pet) friendly and this year we will be adding other interesting elements for all ages!

WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR…HALF PRICE ADMISSION AFTER 3PM EACH DAY! Yes, you got that right, $5 admission at 3pm and age 10 and under are always FREE! Gate admission includes free inflatables, dog show, apple pie eating contest, music, artisans and vendors, samples, car show and more!

Local and Regional Artisans and Vendors throughout the grounds and two (2) buildings.

Since we are pet friendly, this new fun-to-watch and fun-to-participate activity is our new fun element for our four-legged friends (Saturday only).

Enjoy a great collection of antique vehicles in a festive atmosphere. Bingo is always fun with great prizes!

Very popular addition to the festival. Artisans from throughout the region will be added to the lineup of festival activities. Must be 21 and over with ID required. Tasting fee extra. Live entertainment nearby makes this a can’t miss attraction!

What would an apple harvest festival be without the popular apple pie eating contest? Center stage, Sunday at 3pm!

Another got-to-have crowd pleaser! Enter the Apple Pie Baking Contest and bring your family and friends to watch the while the judges sample the variety of homemade pies in the apple theme booth. The Apple Theme Arena is where you can get free apple and apple cider samples.

Continuous entertainment featuring Jimmy Lee, Mojo Mothership and
others TBA…all family friendly.

We flood the area schools, day care centers and all HANDY MART stores with $1.00 off admission coupons! Admission includes all activities except Tap & Cork and is $10 or less! Age 10 and under are FREE!

Giving back to the community just feels good. Be a part of something big and contribute to this event by exhibiting and/or attending. All proceeds for the event go to local non-profits. Over $1 Million Dollars has been given over the life of this event…so thank you!

Broken Window Brewing Block Party


Join us in celebrating our 2 year Anniversary! We are once again closing down Boscawen Street and inviting our four legged friends from Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue and Southern Paws Animal Rescue to help us celebrate.

Live Music will be performed by Raised on Analog.

Natalie from the German Table will be serving up hot brats and Fire Fly Bakery will supply you with all of your puppy treats and gluten free baked goods.

Our alcohol line-up will be Valerie Hill for wine and for beer we have Alesation, Backroom Brewery, Escutcheon Brewing, Front Royal Brewing, and Winchester Brew Works.

Apple Harvest Festival

20 varieties of apples to choose from, with pick your own available. Apple cobbler and apple cider slushees can be enjoyed while sitting on the front porch or listening to the music each day from 1-3 P.M.

For the kids we have the cow train, a playground and room to run. A variety of food will be available at the food building. Wagon rides around the farm scheduled throughout the day.

The Fish Crew is proud and eager to bring the now World Famous Concern Hotline Friday Fish Fry to your plate! Fresh Hand Battered Fried Fish, Red Beans and Rice w/ Andouille, Creamy Cole Slaw, Cornbread, Fresh Baked Cookie, Sodas, and Water!

Belle Grove Wine Fest

Join us on Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. for Belle Grove’s Annual Wine Fest!

The highlight will be tastings from Virginia’s vibrant wine, cider, mead, beer, and spirits industry.

Guests with tasting tickets will receive a souvenir tasting glass and be able to sample from all participants as well as make purchases by the bottle or case; some vendors will also sell their products by the glass.

There will be live music throughout the day by Robbie Limon, who will play acoustic classic rock hits from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Critton Hollow String Band folk trio will be on the stage from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may bring chairs and pop-up tents to enjoy the music on the lawn.

There will be an array of artisan and merchandise vendors, and the event will also include 30-minute cooking demonstrations in upper level of the Beverley B. Shoemaker Welcome Center.

Food will be available for purchase from Shaffers Barbecue and Market (Middletown) serving its famous BBQ and 0 to 60 Energy Café (Winchester) serving gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese plates, wraps, smoothies, and coffee treats.

The Massanutten Antique Tractor and Gasoline Engine Club will also attend the event and will have tractors on display.

Advanced tasting tickets are on sale now for $20 at and at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center (cash and check only). At the gate on the day of the event, tasting tickets may be purchased for $25. Admission includes a souvenir stemless wine tasting glass, all tastings, access to all vendors, performances, demonstrations, and tours of the historic Manor House and landscape. General admission is $10 for visitors who do not wish to do tastings, are designated drivers, or who are under age 21.

Richard’s Peach Festival

Family Fun Day on the Farm!

FREE Admission! Join us on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 11am – 4pm for our Peach Festival! We’ll have live music, farm food (our own burgers, farm to crust pizza, hotdogs, peach milkshakes & more), a tasting table, wine & craft beer, and of course, LOTS of peaches!

This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us! Have fun in our petting zoo, take a ride on the hay wagon, let the kids cruise around in the barrel train, or just run around til they’re exhausted. We’ll have badminton & corn hole too.

The event is rain or shine, but no worries – there’s plenty of undercover space if a sprinkle happens along.

Winchester Greek Festival

The Annual Winchester Greek Festival will take place on Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th, 2019.

Sample our legendary Greek cuisine and experience our renown Greek music and dance. Truly great fun for the entire family! A large selection of tasty Greek food is available.

The Book Store will be open offering religious items and reading material of the Orthodox faith.

Other retail vendors will also be set-up to display their various items for purchase.

Admission is free and ample free parking is available.

Greek cooking offers an incredibly rich and diverse array of foods that are the culmination of literally thousands of years of good living, cooking, and eating. While each Greek menu item offered is fresh and inviting, it is also a culinary trip to Greece. Our talented ladies of the church work for days in advance of the festival creating delicious Greek food.
