An area just for the kids with a Giant Slide, Kids Castle and Obstacle Course. Susie The Clown doing balloon art for the kids on Saturday. Nearby handwashing station for use before and after play.

CANINE INTERACTIVE CHALLENGE COURSE…on Sunday.
Sponsored by Blue Ridge Dog Training Club. This course will engage the canine mind and provide exercise for all breeds, sizes and ages!

CLASSIC CAR & HOT ROD SHOW
Enjoy a great collection of antique vehicles and hot rods in a festive atmosphere, Saturday at 10:30am. Trophies, Hourly Prizes, 50/50 Drawing and nearby Music.

TAP & CORK (HARD CIDERS & CRAFT BEERS)
Must be 21 and over with ID required. Live entertainment nearby makes this a can’t miss attraction!

APPLE PIE EATING CONTEST HOSTED BY WHITE HOUSE/NATIONAL FRUIT
What would an apple harvest festival be without the popular apple pie eating contest? Center stage, Sunday!

APPLE PIE BAKING/JUDGING CONTEST…Saturday at Noon.

Belle Grove Wine Fest

Belle Grove Plantation will host its annual Wine Festival on Saturday, August 27. The event will feature live music, tastings, food and artisan/merchandise vendors.

Your tasting ticket will include a souvenir wine glass and samples from wineries, cideries, a meadery and a distillery, some of which will also have products for sale.

Richard’s Peach Festival

FREE Admission! Join us on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 11am – 4pm for our Peach Festival! We’ll have live music, farm food (our own burgers, farm to crust pizza, hotdogs, peach milkshakes & more), a tasting table, wine & craft beer, and of course, LOTS of peaches!

This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us! Have fun in our petting zoo or just run around til they’re exhausted.

We’ll have outdoor games like badminton & cornhole too.

The event is rain or shine, but no worries – there’s plenty of undercover space if a sprinkle happens along.

Winchester Greek Festival

The Annual Winchester Greek Festival will take place on Saturday, August 20th, and Sunday, August 21st, 2022.
Sample our legendary Greek cuisine and experience our renowned Greek music and dance. Truly great fun for the entire family! A large selection of tasty Greek food is available including roasted lamb, gyros, moussaka, pastitsio, and a large variety Greek pastries.
Greek cooking offers an incredibly rich and diverse array of foods that are the culmination of literally thousands of years of good living, cooking, and eating.

While each Greek menu item offered is fresh and inviting, it is also a culinary trip to Greece. Our talented parishioners work for days in advance of the festival creating the delicious Greek food and pastries.

Greek retail vendors will also be set up to display their various items for purchase.
Admission is free and ample free parking is available. The festival will take place rain or shine.

Marker-Miller Peach Festival

Everything peaches! Peach cobbler, peach pie, peach turnovers, peach slushees, peach ice cream, and fresh peaches GALORE!!!! Enjoy music by Allen Boyd and The Waysiders from 1-3 P.M while sitting on the front porch or in the picnic pavilion.

Blue Ridge Bar-B-Q and 3 Fires Oven Pizza will be serving food all day. We’ll have a variety of crafters/vendors here in front of the farm market and the kids can hop on the cow train for a ride and everyone can enjoy the scenic wagon ride around the farm.

Steve Gryb, the Pied Piper of Percussion, from Miami, Florida, will presents “The Percussion Petting Zoo” activity/attraction. This hands-on activity will feature percussion instruments from around the world that everyone can touch, play, explore, and have fun making sounds. 12-5pm

Of Ale and History Beer Festival

Join us for the longest running beer festival in Virginia–the ‘Of Ale and History’ Beer Festival!

Featuring live music from live music from The SONS of LIBERTY BAND (11:00AM-2:30 PM) & Robbie Limon Band & (3:00 PM-6:00 PM)

50+ beers, local food and merchandise vendors. This is a rain or shine event but feel free to bring your own chairs and pop-up tents. Please do not bring pets, coolers, outside food or drink. And don’t forget your ID!

Advanced tickets are $30 for tastings (includes eight tastings and souvenir tasting glass) or $15 for designated drivers or anyone under 21 (includes two non-alcoholic beverages)

Apple Blossom Festival: Bloomin’ Sunday

The event is an annual family fun extravaganza and includes an Artisan and Craft Show, Midway Games, Entertainment, Concessions, Classic Car/Jeep/Motorcycle Show (weather permitting), Kids’ Zone, and Live Music. Bring your whole family. We have something for everyone!

Artisan and Craft Show
Join us for our 45th year for a “Festival Within a Festival.” Our show has been the cornerstone of this event since its inception. Artisans and crafters from all over the country have been carefully selected for the Artisan and Craft Show. Many unique and high-quality artisans will display their work.

New Horizons Kids’ Zone
Renaissance themed Kids’ Zone fun for the whole family with activities for everyone. Events include pony rides, petting zoo, puppet shows, apple pie eating contest, wildlife shows, magical acts, children’s talent show, bouncy house, blow up slides, Celtic dance performances, and games. Princes and Princesses will be able to meet the royalty of Ravenwood Faire!

Open Car and Motorcycle Show
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Stonewall District Ruritan Club Grounds
Members of the Hoppers Car Club will be on hand for registration from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Then the show will run until 3 p.m. at which time awards will be given out. The vehicles would be leaving after the awards. Get a close-up view of vintage cars and motorcycles.
