Rock’n Roof Halloween Show: Radkey

We are super stoked to announce that our Fall Halloween show this year is being headlined by Radkey on Saturday, October 12. We also have rooftop veterans American Television, and Thee Deluxe, along with first timers on the roof, Weatherworn. This event is Halloween-themed, so go all out when planning your costumes! 30% of all ticket sales benefits the museum’s special needs programming. This concert will be the biggest one yet; no tricks, all treats! Come ready to rock. You don’t wanna miss this one!

6th Annual Parks and Pets Extravaganza

Join Frederick County Parks and Recreation for their 6th annual Parks and Pets Extravaganza on Saturday, October 5th from 10am-3pm. At their new location, Clearbrook Park, expect all kinds of activities for you and your pet including:

-Silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Frederick County Esther Boyd Animal Shelter

-Demos by the Frederick County Fire and Rescue and Frederick County Sheriff’s Office

-An assortment of food vendors

-Vendors for all your pets’ needs

-Honor Guard

-Halloween Pet Costume Parade

-And new this year: Dock Diving at the Clearbrook Pool!

This event is free to all and is family/pet friendly!

 

Farm to Table Dinner

Middletown, VA, closes down Main Street to host a dinner for 250 residents and raise money for NW Works, a non-profit that helps people with barriers to employment find meaningful work.

The Fourth Annual Farm to Table Dinner brings neighbors from all walks of life together for a family-style meal prepared and served by professionals from Firefly Café & Bakery, a Winchester favorite that provides training and job support for people with disabilities. The evening includes wine, locally sourced fare, and live entertainment. Tickets are $75 or $50 for Middletown residents.

Through the coordinated efforts of Middletown’s business community, the Mayor, the Fire Chief, the Police Chief, and the Frederick County Sheriff, Main Street becomes the setting for a lovely dinner party complete with delicious food, lively conversation, and warm support for a worthy cause. Thanks to Citi National Bank for volunteers and sponsorship.

The Fish Crew is proud and eager to bring the now World Famous Concern Hotline Friday Fish Fry to your plate! Fresh Hand Battered Fried Fish, Red Beans and Rice w/ Andouille, Creamy Cole Slaw, Cornbread, Fresh Baked Cookie, Sodas, and Water!
