Eugene Smith Gallery Holiday Open House

Join us for a Holiday Open House at Eugene B. Smith Gallery.

Shop for holiday gifts at the gallery while enjoying the vocal stylings of Tracey Wygal!

She will be performing the music of Patsy Cline in honor of Eugene’s 2021 Christmas image, which features Patsy’s former home. The image is featured on a Christmas ornament as well.

Holiday Open House

The Holiday Open House is an all-day event starting at the War Memorial Building/Recreation Center (1001 E Cork St, Winchester), from 9-11am, with activities for adults and children leading up to the arrival of Santa.

At 11am, follow Santa on his firetruck down to Old Town for photos and fun on the Loudoun Street Pedestrian Mall, with live music, holiday shopping specials, art displays, holiday crafts, and more!

Follow the Star – Live Nativity Walking Tour

Follow the Star is a dramatic and immersive live nativity experience.

Follow The Star is a Guided Walking Tour! Have you ever dreamed about the night when Jesus was born? What it would be like to be visited by angels like Mary and Joseph? On a cold winter’s night, one bright star out shone the others. When the angels proclaimed to the shepherds about their newborn King. Follow the Star will take you back to that night and you will experience Christmas like never before.

There will be live drama – including animals – for your enjoyment as you walk through the event.

Open to the public. All are welcome!

Follow the Star is a dramatic and immersive live nativity experience celebrating its 11th year in Winchester, Virginia.

This year Follow the Star will be a drive through Nativity, in the Parking Lot of Fellowship Bible Church. You will be greeted by traffic attendants who will show you where to drive and you will experience Follow the Star from the warmth and safety of your vehicle. Expect delays when you arrive, but we will have Christmas music for your listening enjoyment. The audio portion will be through a Spotify link given to you when you arrive- or a CD, if that’s your preference. There will be live drama- including animals- for your enjoyment as you drive through the event.

Open to the public. All are welcome!

Christmas Tree Lighting

The time of year to deck the halls is approaching fast and our tasting room needs a little extra Christmas spirit this year, don’t you think?

On Saturday, December 2nd from 6-8 PM, we are lighting up our Christmas tree and we want you there to partake in the joyous fun.

We will light the tree at 7pm, but you’re invited to come early and kick off the holiday season at 6 pm. The weather may be frightful but the mulled wine, hot cocoa, and Live carolers will warm up the atmosphere with holiday spirit as the tree lights up!

This event is FREE and is kid friendly, so bring the whole family out in celebration. We have something for everyone to enjoy!

Christmas Markets around the world offer a unique and memorable experience for all ages. Belle Grove’s Kris Kringle Market is on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19, 10 am-4 pm each day. Admission is free!
