Everyone celebrates the end of Winter Reading with awards, crafts, stories and ice cream.

Will “Bowman Bill” see his shadow? Don’t miss the fun!

There will also be an appearance from a live groundhog.

Skyline Laser Tag Glow Night

Celebrate the final days of summer with Skyline Laser Tag! GLOW NIGHT is only $10 per person for 3 HOURS when you purchase your tickets in advance. Online ticket sales end at 5pm – Tickets will be $15 at the door – BUY EARLY TO SAVE!

Skyline Area 51: Project Laser Tag

This event will be a slightly different than our standard open play specials. On Friday, September 20th @ 6pm we will be hosting an ‘Area 51’ themed open play. Whose side will you choose….?

Father Daughter Dance

Enter a fairy tale land of wonder with your littles for a night you’ll treasure forever. DJ, finger foods, cake from Sweet Tooth Bakery, and door prizes and more will be provided plus we will crown the best daddy/daughter couple. Please join us for a unforgettable affair!

Astronomy Night

It’s sure to be a stellar night at the Discovery Museum!

Learn about constellations, planets, and telescopes from the Shenandoah Valley Astronomical Society and view the heavens from the Sky Level. We will also create a starry craft, engineer a moon lander, dodge asteroids, and hear an out-of-this-world tale.

Native American Heritage Day

Regular museum play is punctuated with presentations and activities from Native American tribes from across the region. Hear traditional stories, experience tribal dances, and create native-inspired artwork. Included with admission.
