Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival

The Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival is Winchester’s first beer festival on the Old Town Mall. The festival is geared toward educating and exposing participants to the growing popularity and love for great craft beer. The festival features 40+ craft breweries from the local area and beyond.

The event benefits GoodDogz.org and Dakota’s Dream Animal Rescue.

Old Town Farmers Market

Saturdays, 9am-1pm, May 11 – September 28

The goal of the Old Town Farmers Market is to provide fresh, local food and agricultural products directly from farmers and producers to residents, while creating an enjoyable atmosphere that contributes to a prosperous downtown and promotes a sense of community in Old Town Winchester.

The vendors will offer a wide variety of items for sale including in-season fruits, vegetables, artisan breads, cookies, cheese, grass fed beef, gluten free bread, cured meats, jam, eggs, honey and many other items (produce and items for sale may vary each week). All items were grown or produced within a 60-mile radius of Winchester.

Crawl for a Cure Charity Pub Crawl

The Movin’ Mamas Relay for Life Team will be hosting a Pub Crawl on April 13, 2019 starting at 5:00PM. ALL proceeds will go to The American Cancer Society to help in the fight against Cancer. Doors will open at 4:30pm at Piccadilly Brew Pub. The crawl will continue to various locations in downtown Winchester. All registrations include: a T-Shirt, chance to win a Google Mini and specials at each location. A small silent Auction will take place at Piccadilly’s Two 50/50 raffles will take place throughout the night.

Winchester Beer Tour

You’ll experience Old Town Winchester with a new eye on this tour.
Explore the significance of buildings you’ve walked by before, hear about the men and women that made Winchester come to life, and sample beer from the newest breweries along the way.

We’ll make sure you have fun with interesting historical facts, pointing out the best architecture, and telling you the stories behind the brewers and the beer. All of the food and beer is included in the tour price!

Every Sunday 2pm-5pm.

Holiday House Tours

Join us for Preservation of Historic Winchester’s Annual Holiday House Tours!

Holiday House Tours attract up to 500 visitors to homes and historic buildings decorated for the holidays. The tour is a staple of Winchester holiday traditions – the first tour was held in 1975.

The Daylight Tour is the main attraction of the Holiday House Tour weekend, taking place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Hours: 1-5 p.m. (last tour guides leave at 4 p.m.)

411 N. Loudoun St.
419 N. Loudoun St. (Saturday only)

The Patsy Cline Historic House at 608 S. Kent St. will be open for free tours Nov. 30, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2. Visit their Facebook for more information on this bonus event taking place during Holiday House Tour weekend.

Walking tours for Saturday have been cancelled due to expected rain. The sites will be open for tours. Walking tours are expected to take place Sunday as planned. Look for tour guides near the Bank of Clarke County at 202 N. Loudoun, Centre Meeting House at 203 N. Washington, and near the Peyton Street intersections for guided tours linking the sites. The last tour guides are expected to set out at 4 p.m. from these locations.

Light refreshments will be available at 203 N. Washington, 323 Fairmont, and 411 N. Loudoun on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission: $20 at an advance sale location, $25 at the door. Tickets are valid for either day or may be split across both days.
