Mark your calendars for December 14 when the Old Town Farmers Market will return to the Loudoun Street Mall for a one day Holiday Market as part of our annual Holly Jolly Celebration!

We expect to have market vendors with in-season produce, meats, canned items and the like, seasonal greenery and agricultural products, as well as artisan vendors with locally handmade items.

Merry Murder Mystery Comedy

Eat. Drink. Laugh. Solve a Murder.

Tis the season for another Die Laughing Productions hilarious whodunit Murder Mystery Show. This show sold out last December and now it’s back with more laughs and lots of brand new twists and turns!

You are transported to Nakatomi Consulting’s annual Holiday Party and Secret Santa gift exchange. The guest who gives the best gift will be the hit of the party. The one with the worst gift might just end up dead.

98 Rock morning show co host Justin Schlegel and Bright Box favorites Rob Maher, Joe Robinson, , Katie Robinson, Tommy Sinbazo and Erik Woodworth return to star alongside you, the audience. Several willing audience members will get to play roles in the production and everyone in the audience will get to guess, who’s been naughty and who’s been nice.

Holiday House Tours

Join us for Preservation of Historic Winchester’s Annual Holiday House Tours!

The Daylight Tour is the main attraction of the Holiday House Tour weekend, drawing crowds of up to 500 visitors. The tour is a staple of Winchester holiday traditions – the first tour was held in 1975.

This year, we partnered with the Winchester-Frederick County Historical Society to present the Holiday House Tour Through the Centuries, visiting homes constructed in each epoch of Winchester’s architectural history from its founding in 1744 until the modern day, to commemorate Winchester’s 275th birthday. Holiday House Tour Tickets go on sale in mid November at The Final Yard, Kimberly’s, Winchester Book Gallery, Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center (1400 S. Pleasant Valley Rd), and the Bough & Dough Shop at the Hexagon House. Preview Party tickets may only be reserved at the PHW Office or the Bough and Dough Shop.

Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Celebrate the fun and excitement of the holiday season in Old Town Winchester. Bands, floats, and specialty units along with Santa will be coming to see you. Don’t forget the tree lighting ceremony, immediately following the parade.

The Old Town Christmas Parade begins at 7pm and lasts until about 8pm. The parade route is Cameron Street to Piccadilly to left on Braddock St. to left on Cork St. and finish at Loudoun St.

Tree Lighting: Santa will walk down Rouss Avenue to the official Tree Lighting stand to light the tree.

Parking: There is a $5 flat rate fee upon entering any of the parking garages for the Christmas parade.

Street Closures: Cameron St. between Cork and Piccadilly will be closed at 6:00 pm for the line-up. Streets surrounding the pedestrian mall will close at 6:30 pm for the parade

Free

Inclement Weather: The parade will be held on the day scheduled unless there is severe inclement weather. Weather announcements will be made on local radio and cable stations. There is not a cancellation date.

CAZHMIERE
Cazhmiere is one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most in demand top 40 dance bands. Based out of the Eastern Panhandle of WV, they also play in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Cazhmiere prides themselves on being diverse musically playing everything from modern radio rock to today’s most popular hip hop, to the smooth vibes of old school R&B. The members of Cazhmiere bring various nationally recognized playing experience to the table making this band a true force to be reckoned with from both a musical perspective, and high energy stage performance. Their 16 years of chemistry together show’s in every performance.
