Yeti Sun Run

The 2nd Annual Yeti Sun Run to benefit The Laurel Center will be held June 12 and 13, 2021. David Vincent and his friends will run six 10K runs, 37.2 miles, over the course of 2 days. Last year, the Run raised over $13,000 to provide emergency shelter, advocacy, and support services for The Laurel Center’s clients. This year, David is challenging himself and the community to raise $30,000! You can help us meet this goal by joining us as a runner or making a donation.
Winchester Ciderworks will host the event this year. Each run will leave from this location and go through the country roads surrounding the Ciderworks.

Runs will start at the following times:
June 12: 3 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm
June 13: 7 am, 11 am, and 3 pm

Even if you don’t want to run, join us at Winchester Ciderworks to enjoy their wonderful cider and support the runners and The Laurel Center.
You can register to run all six 10K runs or just one.

The Laurel Center fulfills a very important need for local women, men and their children who are victims of domestic and sexual violence. Our mission is to empower those affected by domestic and sexual violence by providing emergency shelter, advocacy, outreach, support services, education and awareness. Each year, we help thousands of area residents empower their lives to cope with past and present trauma through our emergency shelter, therapy, psycho-educational counseling and other advocacy services.
