Watermelon Park Fest

The 16th annual Watermelon Park Fest celebrates 75 years of music at the Park featuring Grammy award winners Sam Bush, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Travelin’ McCoury’s and many more.

The sixteenth annual Watermelon Park Fest will take place September 19 through 22, 2019 at Watermelon Park in Berryville, VA. The weekend will include performances by Grammy award winners Sam Bush, the Infamous Stringdusters and the Traveling McCourys, as well as The Tim O’Brien Band, Sierra Hull, The Dead South, Larry Keel, local favorites Furnace Mountain, the Woodshedders and many many more. Located on the banks of the Shenandoah River, Watermelon Park has been the home of Shepherd’s Ford Productions events for sixteen years, with the inaugural Watermelon Park Fest in 2004. In addition to the performances, the festival also offers a variety of workshops, as well as activities for children. Festival goers may also enter one of three contests: the Eastman Mandolin Pickin’ Contest, the Fairbuilt Guitar Pickin’ Contest, or the $1000 Band Contest.
