Brunch is breakfast without an alarm clock. Let’s add some wine into the mix to glam it up a bit! Come and enjoy the beauties that a Sunday can bring with James Charles Winery’s event series, The Brunch Bar.

The Brunch Bar is the gift that keeps on giving! This series will be a once-a-month extravaganza with a scrumptious rotation of food options for every event. Hosted in our wonderful Salon Room, the next date of this series will come to fruition on Sunday, February 12th! Brunch starts at 12:00 pm, for $19.99 (plus a small service fee for meal tax).

This Month’s Brunch:
MMMMM Breakfast Burritos! There is nothing that a good breakfast burrito can’t fix. Our Breakfast Burrito Bar offers various kinds of breakfast burritos, served with different toppings, to choose from (limit 2 per person). There will also be choices of sides to accompany your yummy burritos.
And what good is a Sunday Brunch without mimosas? Indulge in a complimentary mimosa upon your arrival (don’t worry, there will be additional mimosas and wine for sale).

Tropical Island Food and Steel Drums

Join us at Briedé Vineyards, where Tropical Island will be serving delicious fare from 5pm-8pm on Friday.

Purchase your meal at the vineyard and sit back and relax the way we do in the islands…listen to steel drums and be a part of a very fun evening. Mark your calendars for August 5th, September 2nd, and September 30th.

Briedé is a farm winery located in the Shenandoah Valley, 10 minutes outside of Winchester. We offer a beautiful setting and tasting room with estate grown wines and a champagne house servicing a selection of champagnes from France. We are a family-owned (owner in the tasting room) serving you.
We have a small boutique tasting room with a personal touch. Come experience a different kind of tasting.

We will also have live entertainment by David Andrew Smith on Saturday, and Kimberly Burke on Sunday.

James Charles has debuted its very first rosé wine! This dry and fresh pink wine deserves a party in its honor! We want to throw a birthday bash and you are invited!

This national Rosé Day on Friday, June 24th, we are holding a JC Rosé Birthday Bash at the tasting room! We are open from 12-9 pm and will be celebrating all day long, so come by whenever you can for the possibility of receiving a special prize! All you have to do is dress in pink to match our new blush and any purchase of the JC Rosé will be 10% off! You can really rosé all day with a deal like that!

Vaudeville Show at James Charles Winery

“The world’s a stage, and everything else is Vaudeville” -Alan Moore

The Vaudeville craze came to the US from France in the 1920’s. We wanted to bring a little piece of French history into our brand new Salon Room at James Charles with a modernized Vaudeville Show!

Vaudeville brings out acts of all kinds of talent and just wait until you see what we have in store. We have live performances ranging from dancing and music to magic acts! We also have various acts featuring students from Shenandoah University as well as many other astonishing performances! You surely won’t want to miss out on this dazzling display of talent.

On Saturday, April 23rd, the doors will open at 7 PM, the show will begin at 8 PM and will include a fifteen minute intermission. Seating options will be open, so come early to get a good spot and a tall glass of wine to enjoy the show with.

There will be James Charles wine and light fare options available! So come hungry and thirsty!

Ghost Hunters Watch Party at Valerie Hill Winery

Additional dates added for our Ghost Hunters Watch Party! April 9th and 16th!

Join us for a special watch party to view the Ghost Hunters episode filmed at Valerie Hill, “A Boy and Buried Secrets.” The evening begins at 7:00pm with a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine of your choice while you mingle with other guests in the candle lit rooms and main staircase featured in the episode.
