Fireworks Display – Clarke County

July 3, 2020 @ 9:00 PM

Some fireworks displays have been canceled this year in Winchester and Frederick County, but displays will take place in Middletown (July 4) and nearby Clarke County (July 3).

Clarke County’s annual Independence Day fireworks display begins at 9:20 p.m. Friday, July 3, at the Clarke County Ruritan Fairgrounds. Please note the following changes that aim to reduce the spread of COVID-19:

• All spectators are asked to stay in or with their vehicles.
• Visitors may not walk around the fairgrounds.
• Grandstands are closed.
• There will not be a pre-fireworks concert.
• The concession stand is closed.
• Spectators may bring food and beverages. Alcohol is prohibited.
• Spectators are asked to take their trash with them when they leave.
• Spectators may park at D.G. Cooley Elementary School, Clarke County High School, and Chet Hobert Park but must stay in or with their vehicles.
• Exiting the fairgrounds will take time. Be patient.

This FREE event is made possible every year thanks to the generosity of the Bank of Clarke County.
