George Washington Election of 1758

This will be the second year that the French and Indian War Foundation will be re-enacting George Washington’s first successful election to the Virginia House of Burgesses! Come join us and cast your vote!
Local celebrates will be in 18th century attire and cask conditioned ale will be offered by the Virginia Beer Museum at the original election location.
This is exactly where George Washington won his first elective office for the House of Burgesses of Virginia, under King George II who ruled Great Britain, Ireland, and Brunswick-Lüneburg (Hanover) and as elector in the Holy Roman Empire.
