Holiday House Tours attract up to 500 visitors to homes and historic buildings decorated for the holidays. The tour is a staple of Winchester holiday traditions – the first tour was held in 1975.
The Daylight Tour is the main attraction of the Holiday House Tour weekend, taking place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Hours: 1-5 p.m. (last tour guides leave at 4 p.m.)
203 N. Washington St.
323 Fairmont Ave.
411 N. Loudoun St.
419 N. Loudoun St. (Saturday only)
The Patsy Cline Historic House at 608 S. Kent St. will be open for free tours Nov. 30, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2. Visit their Facebook for more information on this bonus event taking place during Holiday House Tour weekend.
Walking tours for Saturday have been cancelled due to expected rain. The sites will be open for tours. Walking tours are expected to take place Sunday as planned. Look for tour guides near the Bank of Clarke County at 202 N. Loudoun, Centre Meeting House at 203 N. Washington, and near the Peyton Street intersections for guided tours linking the sites. The last tour guides are expected to set out at 4 p.m. from these locations.
Light refreshments will be available at 203 N. Washington, 323 Fairmont, and 411 N. Loudoun on Saturday and Sunday.
