Martin Luther King, Jr. Week
January 20 - January 24
Following the path of least resistance is often an easier, simpler choice. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. showed us what it means to choose the more difficult path and to stand up for justice – even when it seems impossible. Dr. King’s example of activism through the civil rights movement is one of the most well-known in history. His resilience has inspired generations of activists to keep pushing for change and rely on their own ability to overcome obstacles.
