A Night on Broadway

There’s no business like show business!

Let us entertain you, let us make you smile! We have something special waiting in the wings at James Charles. We are taking a trip to Broadway and you are all invited to merrily roll along.

With live performances featuring Broadway Ballads, Comedy & Showtunes Galore, A Night on Broadway will showcase astonishing performances by the theater students from Shenandoah University. Please come out in support of the SU Theater program for an extremely fun evening.

On Saturday, March 25th, the Salon Room at James Charles doors will open at 7 PM, and our dazzling show will begin at 8 PM and will include a fifteen minute intermission. Seating options will be open, so come early to get a good spot and a tall glass of wine to enjoy the show with.

There will be James Charles wine and a menu of light fare options available to enjoy as you endure an unforgettable show!

Tickets are $25 and $20 for our Legacy Wine Club Members. Upon arrival, please show your email confirmation that you will receive after you purchase tickets.

Good Food Lovers Club

Fellowship of the Sip Restaurant and Tea House invites you to its new initiative, the Good Food Lovers and Promoters Club!

The club is a special program that aims to offer good food and beverage to those who love it and love to promote it.

Tickets can be purchased per event ($10) or discounted membership can be obtained.

The club hosts two parties each month, at one of the events we will be serving a full dinner and the second will be a food tasting of a variety of food and drink samples, alongside an additional program during each party, including wine tastings, live music, talks and presentations from chefs, producers and others, as well as lotteries, art exhibitions and more.

We collaborate with good food producers, businesses, shops and other businesses to bring even more special offers to you. The members will also be invited to attend a yearly food fair for free, organized by this initiative, bringing activists of the food scene, like chefs, food producers, experts and educators offering discounts and special offers to the Good Food Lovers and Promoters Club Members.

About the Speaker

Dr. Carl J. Ekberg is Professor of History Emeritus at Illinois State
University and now resides in Winchester. He is an expert in Colonial American history and award-winning author of 8 books. He has traced the footsteps of Jefferson in Paris for the last 25 years. In 2014, he received La Médaille des Valeurs francophones presented by the French Ambassador on behalf of the Renaissance française for his numerous outstanding publications on the French Colonial period.

YOU are invited to Winchester Salsa Night. Ever want to learn how to salsa? This is your chance. Starting at 7 PM a group lesson will be led by Adriel Byrd followed by an 8 PM social dance.

Celebración of Winchester Festival

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the 10th annual Celebración of Winchester will be held on the Old Town Mall celebrating and educating our area about Hispanic Heritage Month. The Celebración of Winchester, presented by Winchester Main Street Foundation (WMSF), is an all-day festival that is free to the public!

Bring the family and enjoy our outdoor festival with food and retail vendors, Kids, traditional dances from various countries, music throughout the day, and impromptu Latin dancing lessons for anyone interested.

We sincerely hope you will participate in this fun filled community event by participating as a Vendor and bringing your crafts and products to our event for sale.
