Gardens at Night: Soul Expressions

From Richmond, Virginia, the Soul Expressions Band will be back at the MSV to play a high-energy mix of funk, rock, Motown, and today’s hits, including songs made famous by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, UB40, Bruno Mars, Van Morrison, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many other music greats. Dance under the stars, play family lawn games (6–8 p.m.), and explore the gardens and galleries.

Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. Seating begins at 5:30 p.m., food/drink stations and galleries & gardens open at 6 p.m., and the music goes from 7–9 p.m. Bring a chair! No outside food/drink permitted. Cash sales preferred. Rain/shine (dress for the weather).

Friday Night Live is the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, shop, dine and enjoy great live music, street performers and artisans. The Taylor Pavilion will be the main venue for performances every third Friday in June, July and August, however, the Loudoun Street Mall will be filled with music and activities for all to enjoy.

August’s FNL event will welcome back a Winchester favorite, the Robbie Limon Band, who will perform hits from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Limon performs all over region and packs the Taylor Pavilion every time he performs. His mix of cover songs will be sure to have you on your feet dancing and enjoying your night in Old Town Winchester.

July’s lineup will feature the award-winning Mid-Atlantic regional band, The WORX. The WORX plays everything from Journey to Flo Rida during their show. They are a real crowd pleaser and regional favorite! The WORX will bring all demographics to their shows due to their wide variety of tunes.

Sunset Series on the Garden Rooftop

Enjoy this informal, adults-only evening featuring live music and a cash bar. Wine and beer selections will be served on the garden roof top (weather permitting). No admission fee – come mingle and enjoy the beautiful views this spring & summer!

The June Friday Night Live will feature the southern rock band, Brickyard Road Band – A Lynyrd Skynyrd-style band. From start to finish, this band will play classic hits like Workin’ for MCA, Sweet Home Alabama, and Free Bird. A DJ, tent and chairs will also be set up on the Old Courthouse lawn to accommodate additional patrons from the 2019 HOG Motorcycle Rally being held in Winchester that week.

Gardens at Night: The Robbie Limon Band

Kick off summer with ’70s music and classic favorites performed by Robbie Limon Band. Food, beer, hard cider, and wine will be available for purchase. Oktoberfest

Get ready for the Old Town Winchester Oktoberfest 2023, presented by Katie Moody Homespire Mortgage. This much-anticipated event is organized by and will benefit Literacy Volunteers Winchester Area (LVWA). Mark your calendars for September 29th from 5-10 pm, as we gather in beautiful Old Town Winchester to celebrate Oktoberfest in grand style!
