“Type Your Story” Type In

In collaboration with hosts Walking Mall Poet and Sofia Syeda, InnoVault invites the current residents of the Shenandoah Valley to immerse themselves in the Type Your Story type-in.

It is a free opportunity for residents of all ages to tap into their creativity and use working typewriters to illustrate a memory or their daily lives through the written word.

The artistic and interactive space will exhibit stories, poems, and paintings by local artist, Pam Klein, that have been collected during Spring 2021, and encourages attendees to walk around the room and immerse themselves into one-page stories, lessons, and lives.

To preserve personal and diverse histories before and during the pandemic, participants will have the option to submit the collected anonymous entries into a published book!

InnoVault welcomes all ages and walks of life to type their story.
Stop by to submit an entry, check out typewriters, view paintings, or to read stories on display.

Pre-registration is recommended but walk-ins are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.
